Thank You Lord Jesus

The Lord Jesus Christ, by His grace, has delivered us from the power and the penalty for sin! "He has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21

We are so blessed to have His righteousness; how freeing it is to go to bed every night and to wake up every morning knowing that we have been given His righteousness. We have no righteousness of our own! Our hearts are wicked, evil, vile... It is through His steadfast love for us that we can receive a righteousness that we could never attain or earn. All we can offer Him is our nothingness and brokenness; we can offer Him our nothingness and brokenness because He loves us. He tore the veil in two from top to bottom so He could be with us. He is our hero, our valiant warrior, our Savior - our loving God. His love compels us to offer ourselves to Him, and He will change us through the power of His Life in us. The life we cannot live, He wants to live in us. His Life in us, living through us, is an astounding truth made possible through the blood of His cross.

Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ, for the grace You have given all of us to declare us righteous, pure, and holy because of Your steadfast love. We are changed by Your Life, living in us:)
