The Whole World is Guilty

"Now we know that what things soever the law says, it says to them who are under the law: that every mouth my be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God." Romans 3:19

We are guilty of sin in the eyes of the LORD. What do we think we are doing when we seek to look good in the eyes of man? How in the world can we possibly believe the Scriptures and seek to look good in man's eyes? We are guilty before God of sin; we need to quit talking about our own goodness and start worshiping Him for His. We need to sing His praises for His grace given us in Christ.

If you are a Christian, you need to rejoice in Jesus Christ because He is your only goodness. Any good works that you do now, through His Spirit, are His works (Eph. 3:10) - not yours. So many people, including myself, have forgotten how to worship Jesus because they have forgotten how depraved they are and how holy, loving, and awesome He is! Any human who encounters Jesus Christ encounters His character. Any human who has encountered Jesus Christ worships Him. The goodness that you think you have, apart from Him, will prevent you from worshiping Him for who He is. If you have no hunger to worship Jesus in Spirit and Truth, then your carnality is truly exposed.

Get right with Jesus, man, before it's too late. Let his love change you as you seek His face. Don't let your own goodness hinder you from seeking Him.
