King Above All Gods

The God of the Bible is King above all gods; there is no other God but the God of the Bible. It doesn't matter what other religions say about God, what politicians say about God, or what religious leaders of any faith say about God. What matters is what God says about God. What has God said about Himself? What God says about Himself is what the world needs to hear. The world does not need to hear what Man or Religion says about God.

The name of the God of the Bible, according to Him, is Yahveh. Some people translate the original Hebrew name as Jehovah but even this translation isn't completely accurate. Yahveh says that He is the only God:

I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else (Isaiah 45:5-6).

There is no other God. If your God is not the LORD (Yahveh in Hebrew), then your god is no god at all. You are serving a god that cannot do anything for you. Your god cannot help you, your god cannot save you, nor can your god empower you. You need the One, True God in your life. "For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?" (Psalm 18:21).

The God of the Bible, Yahveh, is "King of gods." He says, "For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods" (Psalm 95:3). He, the God of the Bible, is greater than all gods known to Man. He is King above all gods. He is King over all! "For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods" (Psalm 97:7).

Do you know this God? You can know Him personally by believing in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. The God of the Bible can be known to you if you are willing to repent of your sin and believe in Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. Jesus said, "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3). There is complete equality between the True God and Jesus Christ. To know God is to know Jesus Christ, for Jesus Christ is God. You need Jesus.

Repent of your sins, believe in Jesus Christ death and resurrection, read the entire 66 books of the Bible, and follow Jesus. Don't believe in a god that is not the God of the Bible. That is idolatry. Keep yourself from idols and follow Jesus Christ the One, True God of the Bible.
