Spiritual Reality
“I have said all these things to you to keep you from falling away. 2 They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God. 3 And they will do these things abecause they have not known the Father, nor me. 4 But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you." John 16:1-4
Following Jesus Christ is no game; it is a spiritual reality that only Spirit filled believers understand and embrace.
Think about it... Would you be following Christ if people in your city or town were out to kill you for it?
Jesus warned His first followers that there would be people who actually thought they would be serving God by killing them, yet this truth did not sway them from following Him because they knew Him, loved, and embraced Him.
Are you willing to do the same?
